Besides aerospace safety Dan worked as a senior chemical operator at the U. S. Army Rocky Mountain Arsenal home of nerve gas, ammunition and worked in the production of unstable, gaseous and explosive materials.  Dan was an academic adjunct professor/instructor at Florida Institute of Technology in meteorology, air carrier operations management, engines and systems and other aviation and management related courses; has testified before Congress, NTSB, grand and trial juries, featured on national television such as the Today Show, and other local news programs and newspapers on aviation safety, crash and criminal investigations.
